Seeking an outstanding **Assistant Manager** to support the Store Manager with performance of the business. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to training and development of team as well as delivering and driving a high standard of customer service. You will provide your expertise in flooring or tiles to your clients and support with stock management and presentation of the store.

**The Company**:
This Australian-owned business has been operating for over 20 years and are flooring specialists. Their product range includes carpet, timber and ceramic tiles. They are experts in their field providing flooring advice and quality service to all customers.

**The Role**:
Supporting the Store Manager with performance of the business, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to training and development of team as well as delivering and driving a high standard of customer service. You will provide your expertise in flooring or tiles to your clients and support with stock management and presentation of the store.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Experience in Carpet and Timber Flooring or Trades is ideal
- Measure and Quote background
- Warehouse operation management experience
- Experience in stock ordering and stock control
- Proven Sales and KPI achievements
- Ability to build new business and maintain existing customer base
- Ongoing training and development of team
- Forklift licence desirable
- Clear understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
- Intermediate level of computer skills
