About the School
Located only minutes away from beautiful Moreton Bay and the friendly communities of Manly and Wynnum, Wynnum State High School has a long and proud tradition of quality programs, quality teachers and student successes.
We are a co-educational high school with state of the art new facilities, supported with wireless technology. We continue to offer a range of academic and vocational pathways and extra and co-curricular activities to support our diverse clientele. All students are encouraged to be PROUD (positive, respectful, on-task, unified, determined) young people. Our school motto is 'We're Wynnum, We're Proud'.
About the Role
As Principal, you will have responsibility for leading activities and delivery of key tasks, such as:
- Develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
- Futures oriented and strategic.
- Manage resources to achieve goals.
