**About the Business Unit**:
**About the Role**:
The Justice Officer role is to deliver friendly, efficient customer service to clients of the Department of Justice and Regulation. As part of the role you will also consistent, timely and accurate administrative support to regional locations and staff.
The position is based at the Broadmeadows Justice Service Centre. However, it is an expectation of the role that the successful applicant is willing to support at other locations across either the North Metro (Coolaroo, Reservoir, South Morang, Tullamarine, and Thomastown). A driver's license is therefore preferred but not essential.
Some of your duties may include (differing depending on the location):

- Undertaking a range of administrative functions including word processing, data input and management and the maintenance of various records, registers and returns
- Greeting and liaising with clients and stakeholders and provide accurate advice and information in relation to Justice Services in accordance with business processes.

- An openness to new ideas and approaches. An ability to offe your own opinions, ask questions and makes suggestions. You will not not give up easily and maintain discipline in keeping to work planned or assigned
- A recognisation of one's own emotional responses to a range of people or events, and the impact these can have on others. You will recognise that problems or challenges are a normal part of working and the actions that can be taken to manage them
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
