**What you’ll do**
- Manage a portfolio of CTP/MAI claims for customers who have sustained a physical or psychological injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident
- Proactively work to facilitate the recovery of customers and resolve claims within the earliest possible timeframes whilst achieving an optimal outcome
- Provide an excellent level of customer service by working with customers, team members and medical providers to find solutions consistent with their needs and the business objectives
- Assess claims for reasonable and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation needs
- Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met in conjunction with following all internal policies and procedures
- Continually assess the Quantum and Estimate of claims utilising the evidence available
- Calculate settlement offers, negotiate settlements and attend settlement conferences or hearings with lawyers and Counsel
- Utilise and collaborate with Injury Management Advisor and Technical Advisor
- Utilise and collaborate with relevant internal business areas (e.g. Fraud and Investigations, Sharing & Recoveries, Resolution Services) to discuss and action plan file direction

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous CTP claims or personal injury claims experience with a track record for delivering results would be highly regarded, as would Allied Health and/or legal experience
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer
- Excellent communication skills - listen, build rapport, communicate complex information and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders included claimants, third-party providers, external bodies and internal teams
- Strong administrative and written skills and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of each claim within the restraints of the ACT MAI scheme and legislation
- Resilient in nature
- Strong commitment and a high degree of integrity to help meet and exceed customer expectations
