**Your day-to-day**
- Complete and/or oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports and audit functions
- Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner
- Use company systems and processes to maximise revenue through walk-ins, up selling, and car park revenue
- Maintain cashiers float, ensuring accurate daily report of all money received, performs the audit balances and prepares all works for audit in an orderly fashion
- Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans
- Provide support in coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve department leaders and team member performance/development
- Support and ensure Front Office staff provides guests with prompt service, professional attention and personal recognition
- Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships that drive continuous improvements in guest satisfaction
- Conduct routine inspections of the Front Office and public areas and take immediate actions to correct any deficiencies
- Support in identification of hazards, evaluation of risks, and design and implementation of hazard control measures

**What we need from you**

Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration and four years’ guest service/hotel experience with two years in a management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must speak local language(s). Valid South Australian Responsible Persons Certification, Responsible Service of Alcohol, and First Aid Certificate are required.
