**About the role**:
We’re looking for an experienced Capability Builder to join our Learning and Development team on an ongoing full-time basis. Reporting to the Training and Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our nationwide contact centre to actively enable the ongoing learning and development of individuals, teams and the organisation.

The role partners at all levels to ensure training needs are identified early, effectively assessed, solutions are appropriate and learning objectives are achieved for the target audiences. As a Capability Builder you will work with our specialists, leaders and high potentials to develop, build and mature the trainer coach networks. You will also design and deliver training packages.

**_ In this role, you’ll b_**_e_**:

- Managing the trainer coach pathway for success criteria with relevant stakeholders
- Designing, developing and delivering training to meet organisational needs, contributing to the design of training strategies, project plans and continuous improvement of existing learning materials
- Delivering competency-based assessments that are aligned to quality, assessments, and customer experience
- Managing effective training schedules and pathways to meet Customer Operational requirements ensuring that all training is captured in the training pipeline, tracked and evaluated.
- Leveraging data to make informed decisions about training needs and gaps. Identifying areas of upskill and cross skill in conjunction with key stakeholders

**_Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:_**
- Experience as a Learning and Development Specialist or Capability Builder, Specialist or Manager in a contact centre environment, preferably in the electricity or gas industry
- Experience managing a small number of direct reports
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or other relevant qualifications
- Great interpersonal skills with proven ability to coach, motivate and develop staff
- Highly developed communication and presentation skills
- Ability to review systems and procedures and recommend process improvements
