Investor Relations Manager

**About the opportunity**:
We have an opportunity for an Investor Relations Manager to oversee the Investor Services department and contribute to the Investor Relations and Distribution functions. This role is based in our head office in Canberra, with the option to work from home each Wednesday.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the General Manager - Investor Relations, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the investor services inbox and phone line and responding to retail and institutional investor queries
- Coordinating investor statements quarterly (dividends and exits) and annually (periodic and tax)
- Processing quarterly investor distributions and dealing with withheld payments
- Preparing or contributing to ad-hoc investor communications and corporate actions
- Managing the external unit registry provider, including quality control, relationship management, reporting and compliance obligations
- Managing one direct report for the Investor Services function, and general office administration requirements
- Responding to queries from existing and potential institutional investors and covering broker analysts
- Providing financial modelling expertise, including developing or maintaining investment models
- Working closely with the Communications and Marketing team to provide communications and service to our investors
**Requirements**:
- You may have experience from the financial planning or banking industry
- You have RG146 certification and ideally have tertiary qualifications in finance, business or communications
- You understand investment products and have established financial markets/product knowledge
- Investment modelling and associated MS Excel skills not a requirement but will be viewed favourably
- You can demonstrate relationship building skills, such as overseeing a small team, working with internal stakeholders or in a client-based role
- You will have experience drafting written correspondence for external publications and have a strong attention to detail
- You can demonstrate both empathy and persuasiveness while being comfortable regularly working to critical deadlines
