To get our guests’ memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we’re looking for a **Guest Service Agent** who can make transactions feel seamless, offer thoughtful neighbourhood insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home and ignite their curiosity.

**A little taste of your day-to-day**:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- A neighbourhood host - know what’s happening in the neighbourhood and the hotel; keeping up to date with events, activations and hotel information
- Acknowledging IHG One Rewards members and returning guests
- Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
- Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless
- Flexing your product knowledge of room categories, rates, packages and promotions to demonstrate value to our guests
- Staying one step ahead of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
- Assisting guests with Porterage and Valet car parking duties
- Working closely with the Food & Beverage team taking on ad hoc duties as required

**What we need from you**:
At Hotel Indigo, we love people that are authentic, confident, and passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences. We are looking for energetic and approachable people, with excellent communication skills, and a can-do attitude Our team members will ideally bring a passion for the Adelaide region; always curious to discover more and share thoughtful suggestions with our guests.

You will also have:

- Experience working in a hotel front desk, reservations or guest service capacity
- Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
- Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so our guests leave with great memories
- Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential
- Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills
- Flexibility - willing and able to work across all shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Compliant - valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) and Safe Food Handling Certificate required
- Full drivers licence and the confidence to drive and park cars
- Must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
