WiSE Pathology (powered by Austech Medical Laboratories) has been a trusted provider of pathology and diagnostic services for over 24 years. With a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence, we strive to deliver the highest quality service, ensuring optimal results for our clients and patients.

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Officer to join our Gold Coast pathology team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Entry
- Specimen reception
- Analysis of specimens
- Test reporting and validation where required
- Reporting urgent and abnormal results to relevant clinicians
- Participating in routine testing in Biochemistry, Haematology and Stat Microbiology disciplines
- Quality Assurance: Maintain meticulous records of laboratory procedures and ensure adherence to all laboratory safety and quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Biomedical Science, or Diploma in Pathology testing or a related field.
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection highly desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as required.
