**About the Role**:
The Service Manager is responsible for:
Leadership in the delivery of high quality of life outcomes for people with disability (and their families where appropriate)
- Management coaching and support to a team (or teams) of disability support workers with clients requiring specific high intensity support Overall performance of the service meeting targets identified in annual work plansPromotion of community inclusion and person directed support that exceeds the minimum disability standards and delivered within available resourcesOperational management of supported accommodation serviceDay-to-day running of the service to meet and exceed clearly identified KPIs,
- Providing high-quality support to customers, their families along with management support for care staff.

This role includes a component of rostered after hours on-call.

**About You**

Demonstrated management experience; preferable within a community services environment
- Understanding of legislation and standards applicable to the disability sectorKnowledge and understanding of how to support staff to implement contemporary and person centred approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of people with disabilityExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalDemonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources in a complex environmentExcellent initiative and self-directed work practices as well as highly developed organizational skills.
- A relevant disability qualification would be desirable
