**Roster**:Monday to Friday

The Shutdown Resource Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the resources for fixed plant shutdowns. They are the conduit between all parties, communicating with Shut Execution, Category Specialists, Procurement, Planners, Logistics and Vendors, identifying and closing gaps in resources and budgetary requirements. One of the benefits of this is cost savings/budgetary effectiveness. This position has an element of adhoc site visits to ensure site support during shutdowns.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contractor management: Coordinate with Shutdown Execution team on contractor management of vendors and hire equipment
- Feedback to category teams: Provide feedback to Category Specialists regarding vendor KPI reviews. Liaise with Category Specialists regarding vendor contract information and seek advice on contractual issues, expiry of agreements and rates on equipment hire, light vehicles, engineering services, and maintenance sub-categories
- Cost control: Ongoing liaison with Long Term Planner and Accounts Management regarding budget. Management of all invoicing and cost referencing
- Request for quotations: evaluate quotes for Christmas Creek OPF shutdowns
- Purchase Requisitions: Raising shutdown service purchase requisitions and any variations.
- Assessment of contractor claims against purchase orders: Management of all invoicing and cost referencing. Timesheet management and sign off
- Stakeholder engagement: Liaise with various departments within the business such as: Shut Execution, People Logistics Officers, Procurement and Category Specialists. Facilitate the review and approval of purchase requisitions that require the site Fixed Plant Manager and General Manager delegated authority
- Vendor relationships: vendor training and information sessions
- Optimise processes: development and improvement of processes utilising innovative mindset
- Adhoc site visits/support during shutdowns

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience within resource sector
- Minimum 2 - 5 years in similar role
- SAP experience highly preferred
- Current Driver’s License (C Class)
- Solid understanding of cost control
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Conflict resolution skills
- Well organised and ability to show a methodical and systematic approach to work
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Alignment with Fortescue vision and values
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team
