**This is a full-time permanent role with the option of a 9 day fortnight. **The Service workshop team also consists of; Workshop Controller, Apprentice Mentor, Technical Advisor, and 25-30 productive workshop staff.
We are a family owned and operated Toyota dealership in the Perth metro area and have been operating for over 30 years. We’re one of Perth’s biggest Toyota dealerships and proudly hold the title of the **largest Toyota Genuine Parts dealer in Australia.** Supplying and servicing a large variety of commercial, mining, and private customers, means there’s always opportunities for career growth. **How you will make an impact**:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Service Workshop
- Diagnose and assist with unusual problems and communicate with customers directly on problematic repairs as required
- Monitor, maintain, and improve workshop safety
- Manage all equipment servicing and tool calibration
- Conduct weekly toolbox meetings with the service workshop
- Assist the Service Manager to ensure the service workshop complies at all times with Toyota For Life standards.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**What we're looking for**:
- Previous management experience in the automotive industry
- Light Vehicle Automotive Trade Certificate
- Current WA Manual Driver’s License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and engage a team
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines
- Previous Toyota experience desirable
