Ndis Support Coordinator with Level 3 Experience

As a Support Coordinator, your primary responsibility will involve delivering top-tier support coordination to participants based on their Individual Support Plans and service agreements, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the NDIS. Additionally, you will:
- Take the lead in support coordination for an assigned caseload, ensuring high participant satisfaction and retention.
- Assist participants in enhancing their comprehension of the NDIS and establishing connections within the community and support systems.
- Maintain regular communication for goal review, service delivery, and expenditure with participants.
- Deliver services in accordance with participants’ NDIS plans and service agreements, fulfilling all specified requirements.
- Develop budget forecasts and allocate support coordination budgets effectively.
- Foster enduring, trusting relationships with participants, offering assistance through challenges or crises as well as day-to-day matters.
- Collaborate with the NDIS and key stakeholders to ensure participants receive entitled benefits.
- Work internally to address financial, employment, and support worker requirements, supporting plan renewals and management tasks.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should demonstrate flexibility and dynamism, driving services that prioritize the individual. You should also possess:
- A thorough understanding of the NDIS and familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and practices.
- Previous experience in a similar Support Coordinator role or within Disability Services.
- Strong skills in prioritizing caseloads and managing daily tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement capabilities, adopting a participant-centric approach that emphasizes collaboration.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- An unrestricted Driver’s License, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children’s Check (WWCC).
- MUST be familiar with current NDIS changes and systems like PACE, Navigator etc.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm, Contract
**Salary**: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus

- Blacktown, NSW 2148: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
