**About the role**

We are looking for an **Advisor Environment** to join our Health, Safety, Environment team at our Paraburdoo site to provide technical knowledge and day to day guidance to our mine operations as well as other key stakeholders including approvals, technical services and study teams.

This role is a great opportunity to be the main environmental focal point for one of RTIO Pilbara mine sites where you will offer your support and guidance in the management of environmental site issues. Reporting to the Superintendent Environment, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing and submitting compliance reports required to comply with environmental permits
- Managing project contractors and consultants providing environmental services
- Managing site environmental issues, including but not limited to; land clearing, air quality, surface water quality, ground water management and, hydrocarbon management and contamination
- Providing environmental advice in the interpretation of legislation, acts and regulations
- Interfacing with on-site personnel to promote environmental goals and solve environmental issues including performing inspections to assess compliance risks

**What you’ll bring**

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering (or equivalent)
- Current " C Class" WA Drivers License
- Data evaluation and interpretation skills
- Solid experience in a similar role
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and an ability to interpret and problem solve
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset
