Reporting to the Asia Pacific Head of Corporate Compliance based in Singapore (with a disciplinary reporting line to the Oceania Regional President, we are looking for a passionate Regional Compliance Officer to join our team at Bosch Australia in our state-of-the-art headquarters in Clayton.

Working across the Oceania region, you will be partnering with business leaders and supporting them with all compliance matters at a strategic and operational level. You will be working with the Global and Asia Pacific compliance teams, and the Oceania senior leadership team.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and may involve occasional domestic and international travel.

**Job Description**:
This is a rare opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join us as our new Regional Compliance Officer.

The main responsibilities of the Regional Compliance Officer are as follows:
1. Advice and Expertise
- Provide compliance and organizational advice to management and associates on compliance topics, with a focus on anti-corruption and anti-bribery.
- Understand, and keep abreast of changes to, relevant local laws and regulations.
- Implement local policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Cooperate and liaise with government authorities and where necessary, instruct and manage external legal counsel.

2. Compliance Risk Management
- Identify and analyse compliance risks, with a focus on anti-corruption and anti-bribery, as well as carrying out measures to monitor and mitigate risks, for example third-party due diligence, business partner screening, risk assessments and audits.
- Support local management to define/promote compliance goals on anti-corruption and compliance culture.
- Support further development of the compliance management system.

3. Training/Communication
- Design and conduct trainings on compliance topics.
- Design and implement programs and initiatives to ensure awareness of compliance organization and topics, both internally and externally.
- Ensure effective communication of compliance topics in general.

4. Monitoring and Control
- Review and monitor the compliance management system to ensure it meets the requirements under local laws.
- Conducting investigations of compliance cases, including recommending appropriate sanctions, disciplinary measures, or other consequences, and, if necessary, implementation of sanctions and measures.
- Monitor and review effectiveness of compliance program.

5. General
- Must be able to travel domestically (up to approx. 30%) and internationally (up to approx. 5%).
- Undertake additional duties as and when assigned by the Asia Pacific Head of Corporate Compliance, including collaborating and providing support to the regional and global compliance teams on compliance topics outside the Oceania region.

**Qualifications**:
To be considered for this opportunity you will need the following:

- Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management, or related areas.
- Significant experience knowledge in ethics and compliance, legal, HR, risk management / mitigation, internal audit, or other similar governance areas in a multi-national company.
- Extensive knowledge of regulations and laws relating to anti-corruption and anti-bribery, as well as related laws.
- Experience as a compliance officer, compliance manager, or similar position.
- Excellent integrity and value-driven.
- An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
- Solid time management and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic corporate environment.
- Robust personality, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to communicate professionally with all levels within the organisation.
- Strategic thinking plus strong attention to detail.
- Independent, team-oriented professional who can collaborate effectively.
- Strong emotional intelligence.
