**We have an exciting opportunity for an Entry-Level Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month maternity leave contract and manage the social media presence of our diverse group of 9 brands/venues.**

Historically, The Mulberry Group has operated some of Melbourne’s most iconic cafes, including Higher Ground, Top Paddock and Kettle Black. Today, the portfolio includes not only cafes but restaurants and bars, plus their own coffee roastery (Square One Coffee Roasters) and social enterprise and farm (Common Ground Project). In the Melbourne CBD, Hazel, Dessous and Liminal are located on Melbourne’s most prestigious laneway, Flinders Lane, while La Cantina & Common Ground Project are situated at the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. The two newest venues to the group include Lilac Wine (Cremorne) and Heide Kitchen (at Heide Museum of Modern Art, Bulleen), with more on the horizon for 2023 and beyond.

**Role overview**:
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing The Mulberry Group’s online presence across various social media platforms so that we can engage with our target audience across our nine brands/venues, continue to build a strong online community and share our mission and values through compelling storytelling.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop social media strategies and campaigns across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to increase brand visibility, engagement, and follower growth
- Create compelling and visually appealing content, including images, videos, and written copy, to share across social media channels
- Ensure that all brands have content planned for all social channels, and own the end-to-end process of content ideation, planning, creation, scheduling and publishing, ensuring that all content is on brand and resonates with our audience
- Manage and grow the company's (9) social media accounts, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook & TikTok
- Coordinate monthly photoshoots, styling, briefing and more
- Analyse social media metrics and generate regular reports to measure campaigns' effectiveness, identify improvement areas, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Engage with our followers and community through social media and CRM
- Assist with content for new venue launches, where applicable
- Monitor competitor content and activity, industry trends providing actionable insights
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the Leadership Team, Venue Managers etc., to ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with overall marketing initiatives

**About you**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of content or copywriting experience in a food/restaurant/hospitality-focused environment
- Strong passion for social media and a deep understanding of various social media platforms
- A natural storyteller with exceptional writing and editing skill and the ability to adapt tone and style to different brand voices
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and create engaging content
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator or InDesign is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure and report on content performance
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeable about the latest trends in content and social media, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
- You’re great with an iPhone camera
