**About the Role**

The General Manager - Sales is a pivotal role, responsible for setting and executing an ambitious commercial strategy to drive growth. In this role, you will:

- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Understand and clearly articulate the significant value their cutting-edge technology delivers.
- Proactively source and identify new business opportunities including niche markets.
- Initiate creative ways and opportunities to connect with clients and demonstrate the significant value we offer.
- Maintain and develop strong customer relationships with existing and new customers.
- Understand clients and develop business plans considering customer needs and their product requirements.
- Respond to and coordinate, tenders and quotations for targeted projects.
- Continuously develop clients through new projects and solutions.
- Maintain daily sales activities including quoting and responding to client enquiries.

**Who are we looking for?**
- A highly motivated and an enthusiastic personality with a drive to succeed.
- A demonstrable track record of driving sales and developing new business.
- Experience in the building management services area highly regarded, with electrical or other trades experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, outgoing and experienced in working at different levels of organisations such as building managers, consultants, architects, fabricators and specifiers.
- Exceptional experience in managing relationships and closing negotiations.
- A proven record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Bring a dynamic growth mindset to drive the company forward.
- Previous experience and knowledge in the building management systems (BMS) industry is highly regarded.
