**About the Role**

The role is a full time, permanent position that centres around providing administrative support to the Statutory Planning team, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the team’s planners.
- Be experienced in undertaking administrative duties in an effective and confidential matter.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. This will involve attending to customer enquiries over the phone and in person.
- Use initiative and have strong attention to detail.
- Ensure accurate filing and maintaining of data into the corporate information systems.
- Provide assistance and advice to other Council departments.
- Assist with administrative tasks in the Planning and Development Directorate when requested.
- Ensure that all work undertaken by the position is carried out in a healthy and safe manner.
