Our client provides end to end Freight Forwarding Solutions to a variety of customers around the globe. They have a comprehensive range of Air, Sea, Transport, and 3PL service solutions that can be tailored to suit their customers needs.

Their range of Warehouse and Distribution solutions enable customers to consolidate and distribute cargo all over the world. Currently they require an additional Storesperson with an ambitious outlook to grow with their Distribution team.
The main responsibilities include:

- Receipt and unpack containers
- Pick and pack orders and prepare cargo ready for despatch
- Process order and enter data into Cargowise 1
- Manage stock levels and inventory
- Adhere to warehouse and distribution policy and procedures as well as report any safety incidents or hazard to the relevant personnel
- Arrange and book transport and liaise with transport carriers
- Investigate missing stock and help resolve customer issues
- Contact Customers of transport issue and delays and manage Customer KPI’s and expectations
- Warehouse housekeeping and safety walk throughs and report concerns to Management where necessary
- Assist the Distribution Manager as requested

Our client is looking for a self
- motivated, enthusiastic and professional individual who can communicate effectively with customers as well as perform an all rounder warehouse storeperson function.

A current Forklift license is essential but the need to operate the forklift will be mínimal.

Some manual handling and lifting required, and the use of the WMS so computer literacy is also essential.

This is a full time permanent position Monday to Friday and a role that you can make your own.
