**Your new role**:
The Community Development Officer role is instrumental in establishing strong and effective partnerships with community groups and key stakeholders to support increased access and utilisation of Council facilities and programs.

Your role will be to build capacity and develop resilience in community groups and committees such as Neighbourhood Houses, Men’s Sheds and Community Gardens. You will provide support and be the Council liaison for the Community Asset Committees, ensuring Council’s compliance with the _Local Government Act 2020._

This exciting role has a variety of being out in the community to preparing guidelines and reports.

**About You**:
Time management, planning and priority setting skills will be required as well as a strong attention to detail.
