Sydney, Australia Rex (Regional Express) Full time

Rex is Australia’s largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 61 Saab 340 and 7 Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to 58 destinations throughout all states in Australia. In addition to the airline Rex, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the two pilot academies, Australian Airline Pilot Academy in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat.

Rex is seeking a suitably experienced and motivated individual in the full-time role of Engineering Accounts and Support Officer. This position is based at our head office in Mascot, NSW.

**Reporting**:
This position reports to Engineering Accounts & Support Manager.

**Position Responsibilities**

**Engineering Purchasing**
- All purchases are duly approved by the Purchasing Manager (PM) with the best quotations (i.e. leverage fully on the RFQ process)
- All purchase orders are raised timely
- All purchases are delivered timely (i.e. minimum outstanding PO)

**Engineering Accounting**
- Timely and accurate matching engineering invoices against IAS PO system
- Liaison with purchasing/store officers to clarify price discrepancies or confirm goods receipts in IAS system
- Liaison with suppliers to clarify price or quantity discrepancies.
- Analyse and collate ‘bad’ suppliers
- Collate consignment notes for freight invoices
- Report any abnormalities in pricing for engineering purchases
- Maintain pre-payment list for engineering invoices
- Ad-hoc tasks

**General Admin/Support**
- Timely distribution of Uniform/Pax Doc with receipt of orders from the various ports in REX
- Timely update of receipt/issue status on IAS or the equivalent
- Timely replenishment of Uniform/Pax Doc
- Analyse, design and implement cost effective workflow regularly such as to optimize and enhance the supportability of REX’s operations with maximum efficiency and minimum costs; this includes regular review of supplies and their costs respectively.
- Assist in the reconciliation of stock level and cost
- Assist in stock level analysis
- Ad-hoc tasks.
- Other Duties as reasonably requested

- Travel as required
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
