**About the opportunity**

The purpose of our **Private Wealth Manager **is the delivery and implementation of personal wholesale investment advice to our high net worth clients. We recognise that the investment requirements of our clients differs from the norm, and that higher incomes, higher debt levels, specialised professions and complex structures require a unique approach. Our Private Wealth Managers must be able to quickly identify needs, develop solutions and present them in a professional and compelling way.

**More specifically, you will**:

- Work within a team of Private Wealth Managers and Associates, led by a Private Wealth Director
- Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients. Hold rich, collaborative needs-based discussions with clients to provide tailored wholesale advice to meet their objectives, financial situation and needs
- Deliver the ongoing service proposition agreed with the client and within parameters expected by the business, using your expertise and financial market experience to manage, review and critique each client’s investment strategy and portfolio
- Ensure current and prospective clients have a consistent, superior Commonwealth Private experience through the delivery of outstanding service and relationships
- Represent Commonwealth Private when building your client partnerships, including Commonwealth Private’s investment approach, philosophy and principles - as expressed by Commonwealth Private’s House Views, SAA, DAA, investment strategy for each asset class and model portfolios
- Collaborate with Private Bankers, Private Client Executives and Private Bank Directors to identify clients that may benefit from our advisory services and manage new business activity to ensure quality client engagement and commercially astute pricing that delivers value to all stakeholders
- Understand and comply with all regulatory policies and requirements, all CBA Group policies and procedures, and all Commonwealth Privates Business Rules
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the latest regulations in the finance industry, executing a pro-active approach to understanding current market activities and developments

**We’re interested in hearing from people who have**:

- Prior experience in an Investment Management or Private Banking role where you provided investment advice to high net worth clients across all asset classes
- Demonstrated history of forming and maintaining long-term quality relationships with clients (at least 5+ years’ experience as an advice provider)
- Strong knowledge of domestic equities and financial markets more broadly
- Current Authorised Representative status
- Tertiary qualifications in a business, finance or legal related discipline
- FASEA exam completion
- Minimum qualifications in line with FASEA requirements or significant progress towards completion, CFP would be an advantage
