**Highly sought after NSW Government Organisation**
- **Up to $550 per day plus Super**
- **6-month contract**

Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Media Coordinator to join their team.

The media coordinator will prepare and deliver high quality media releases to promote the school infrastructure program along with other exciting projects and initiatives via the appropriate stakeholders and media channels.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Track and monitor media milestones associated with individual projects, and contribute to the ongoing pipeline of proactive media opportunities to support delivery of work and broader department initiatives
- Confidently provide advice and services to members of the media and timely responses to their enquiries
- Coordinating tasks and managing deadlines to ensure accurate reporting of related issues in the media.
- Anticipate, prepare for and implement media responses to emerging issues, or situations to minimise reputational risk to or impact to SINSW projects

**Selection Criteria**:

- Self-motivated, confident and efficient, with strong news sense and a flair for interpreting and translating technical information into digestible and interesting news content for various audiences through media.
- Demonstrate impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, to support the delivery of media responses, releases and opportunities for internal and external stakeholders.
