**About the Role**Join our team as a Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) Learning Adviser In this new role, you'll spearhead our university-wide peer-learning program at the University of Melbourne. Based in the Scholarly Development (Student Learning and Academic Skills) team, your mission is to boost students' academic progress and foster a strong sense of connection within their faculties and the university community. You'll lead the charge in administering the program, crafting professional development and providing ongoing support to PASS student leaders. Your responsibilities will include:

- Contributing to planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating a university-wide PASS program.
- Implementing pedagogies and technologies for interactive, student-centred peer learning.
- Recruiting, training, supporting, and supervising PASS leaders for study sessions.
- Offering ongoing professional development to enhance PASS leaders' facilitation and leadership.

**Who we are looking for**

Your experience in coordinating programs to enhance academic skills and leveraging educational technologies and online platforms is essential. Your knowledge of trends in higher education, particularly peer learning, is crucial. Excellent interpersonal skills, effective teamwork, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment are key. Your organisation, detail orientation, commitment to improvement, and innovative problem-solving skills will be highly valued.

You will also have:

- Degree-level qualifications in education or relevant field, or equivalent experience/training.
- Experience training and supervising student leaders or mentors in higher education.
- Demonstrated coordination of programs supporting students' academic skill development at the tertiary level.
- Proficiency in utilising educational technologies and online platforms for learning resource development.
- Ability to work collaboratively, managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
