Are you a proactive and organised individual looking for a new challenge in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a talented Office Manager to join this small engineering firm and play a pivotal role in shaping the office operations.
Our client, passionate about the environment, specialises in providing innovative engineering solutions to their clients. As a small firm, they pride themselves on their collaborative culture and entrepreneurial spirit.
As the newly created Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the workplace environment and supporting the team in achieving their goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Managing administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and organising office supplies;
Coordinating office logistics, including facilities management, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships;
Assisting with HR functions, such as onboarding new employees, managing employee records, and coordinating employee events
Supporting financial operations, including invoicing, expense tracking, and budget management;
Implementing and maintaining office policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity; and
Providing general support to the team as needed and contributing to a positive work culture.
**Requirements**:
Proven experience in office management or a related administrative role;
Excellent organisational and time management skills;
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management software;
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively;
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities; and
A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
