**About the role**:
Exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute in our People, Culture and Transformation team as one of our People & Culture Business Partners

As the People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP), you will report directly to the Director - HR Operations and Business Partnering and work with the close-knit People, Culture & Transformation team. This is a great opportunity to bring your experience and contribute to embedding a robust, best practice business partnering model.

No two days will be the same In this role, you will be accountable for:

- Providing coaching and advice on employee matters
- Being an escalation point for HR advice and support spanning the entire employee life cycle
- Using people data and insights to steer action focussed people plans
- Undertaking organisational design and implementing change; providing strong change management advice
- Driving strategic workforce planning activities
- Initiate, develop and improve Human Resources operational processes, systems and practices
- Coaching and uplifting capability at the executive and senior level

Within this role you will develop an in-depth understanding of Box Hill Institutes (BHI) priorities and the services it delivers, to model a true partnership approach on all people matters, supporting a “best practice” mind-set, the role will also work towards an innovative and collaborative approach to change management, continuous improvement, and personal growth/ development.

The People, Culture and Transformation (PCT) team are responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational implementation of the BHI’s organisational capability plans and strategic initiatives. The PCT team integrates all activities relating to organisational culture, organisation development, change, workplace relations, recruitment, HR Assist services and workforce metrics/analytics.

This opportunity is fixed term until December 2024.

**About you**:
You are a passionate, dedicated and proactive human resources professional with demonstrated experience as a HR/People Culture business partner. Ideally, you will have a background in the education sector.

You are results focused, pragmatic with a real passion for working in a for-purpose organisation. You are passionate about building real relationships, influencing change and making a difference.

You have a broad range of demonstrated HR experience in providing client-focussed, high quality advice and support to managers and employees at all levels. You hold sound knowledge of the Australian employment standards and legislation, interpretation of industrial instruments in a public sector and/or education sector context.

You have a proven track record in working autonomously and in a complex, dynamic and fast paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and think strategically.

You will need to provide or be willing to obtain a current National Police Records Check and a Working with Children Check and your entitlement to work in Australia.
