The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing employee health safety and wellbeing at work by managing workplace risks and hazards, implementing, and driving health and safety initiatives, maintaining health & safety management systems, ensuring legislative compliance and adherence to statutory requirements. This role will be instrumental in reshaping the safety function at Crown, focused on simplfication, education and empowering our people through close collaboration.

The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager promotes health and safety awareness, fosters a positive team member wellbeing & safety culture, and is focussed on injury prevention activities to assist in mitigating organisational risk and seeks continuous improvement opportunities within health and safety.

**Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Support and promote a health, safety and wellbeing culture and provide advice within Crown to support the implementation of the Crown HSW policy
- Ensure risks are identified and managed appropriately to assist in Crown’s health and safety performance
- Provide advice, consultation, and support to the business units to set and achieve business unit and corporate objectives
- Ensure the delivery of a workers’ compensation and rehabilitation program that is focused on continuous improvement, employee engagement and financial outcomes.
- Ensure hazards and incidents are addressed, reported, and investigated in accordance with CrownSAFE and the system is maintained
- Development of action plans, and initiatives to enable delivery of outcomes

**To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following**:

- At least 5 years managerial experience in HSW or related field
- Value based leadership, including the ability to model and drive cultural change across a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing demands
- Strong results orientation and organisation management
- Business knowledge and business acumen - ideally a strong understanding of the broader business, its structure, and key activities
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills

**Qualifications required**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Health Safety & Wellbeing or related
