And our city is our inspiration, located in the vibrant South Wharf precinct, just a stroll along the Yarra River. Melbourne is on show at MCEC - in the architecture and design, food and hospitality, location, and views.

**About the roles**

We have several great opportunities available across our Food and Beverage team where you’ll have the opportunity to support us to deliver a range of amazing events. We have numerous casual opportunities for Event Setups Attendants. These are opportunities where you’ll work with highly skilled and talented team members committed to providing the highest levels of quality and service delivery.

**Roles available**:
Event Setup Attendants - $29.19 - $40.86 per hour
- Flexible availability across 7 days a week, day, and evening
- High level of personal presentation and grooming
- Excellent work ethic - Reliable, punctual, positive attitude, resilient
- Thrive on being part of and contributing to a high-performing team
- Able to provide a high level of customer service across MCEC.
- Prepare and pack down event space - e.g., handling furniture or stock (not limited to)
- Must hold a **current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)**:

- Be 18 years or over and have valid working rights in Australia
- Physically fit - you'll be walking the majority of your shift and at times lifting/moving equipment and furniture
- Able to abide to OH&S policy and procedure

**Desirable**
- Previous experience in setting up and packing down events
- Previous experience in moving /setting up equipment and furniture
- Previous experience working in a large entertainment venue
- Experience handling stock and inventory
- Hospitality experience or qualification

**About you**

You’ll be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude towards work. Depending on the role(s) you’re interested in, you may need a valid RSA certificate, be physically fit, and have a background in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

- To be considered you must be available to attend a short in-person interview on Thursday 2nd of February or Friday the 3rd of February sometime between 09.00 and 17.00

**You’ll also need**:

- To be a minimum of 18 years of age
- To be flexible with availability depending on shift requirements
- Have valid working rights in Australia
