This is an opportunity to join a once in a lifetime Tasmanian project for the Creative Design and Construction of the iconic New Bridgewater Bridge.

**About the Role**
McConnell Dowell is currently recruiting for a Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Advisor to join our New Bridgewater Bridge Project just north of Hobart.

- The position reports directly to the Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Manager. You will assist in the identification, development and implementation of community engagement activities and ensure the project meets its objectives.**Responsibilities include**:

- Assist in the development of public information about the project that is clear, timely and accessible for the community and project stakeholders.
- Research and write high-quality, original communications material for fact sheets, publications, newsletters (internal and external), advertising copy, project website and other content as required.
- Uphold the reputation of the Project externally.
- Work with the project consultation database to ensure that all interactions with community, key stakeholders and the general public are logged accurately.
- Help manage logistics for a range of communications activities and events, including community information sessions, launches, letterbox drops, corporate events and public and promotional events.
- Preparing and undertaking internal company communications.

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and communications, preferably in a construction or infrastructure environment.
- Ability to develop clear and concise community focused communication materials drawing from a variety of different sources. This includes the ability to identify information relevant to stakeholders from technical information and develop appropriate communication material.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, with a proven ability to produce high quality communications materials.
- Well-developed organisational and coordination skills with a demonstrated ability to determine priorities and manage tasks under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, coordination, and delivery of public events.
