Northline are on the lookout for a Fleet Support Officer to join our team in Sunshine West. Ideally you will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and have previous experience in an administrative role.
As the Fleet Support Officer you will be responsible for assisting the Fleet Team in preparing documents for delivery, liaising with loaders and customers regarding freight deliveries. Through your customer-centric approach to problem solving, you will assist in ensuring Northline provides their customers accurate and timely updates.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support the team to ensure there aren’t any missed/late pick-ups. Should a missed pick-up occur, ensure corrective action is taken immediately.
- Prepare, manage and distribute delivery freight and paperwork.
- Manage depot freight, arrange paperwork and advise loaders when freight is clear for delivery.
- Raise debit notes and charge as required for metropolitan work performed.
- Adhere to special delivery requests by managers, staff, customers and manage priority freight.
- Conduct Audit scans as required.
- Coordinate with Debrief on all Driver paperwork presentation.
- A customer centric approach to problem solving.
- An understanding of Load Restraint Guidelines, Dangerous Goods and Fatigue Management is highly regarded.
- Excellent planning abilities with a high attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Resilience, adaptability and the ability to multitask.
- Demonstrated Experience utilizing a computerised system and the Microsoft Office suite.
