AS AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST YOU WILL...
 This position is responsible for ensuring a high level of security principals are governed and enforced throughout the various IT systems at SG Fleet. This role is also responsible for maintaining vulnerabilities and patching levels throughout all IT systems managed both on-premises and on the cloud. Working alongside other Cyber security stakeholders, this role will proactively and reactively respond to security weaknesses identified throughout our IT Systems.
  • Collaborate with the Security Specialist and SOC team in the management of vulnerabilities and security of infrastructure services and equipment outlined in our Information Security management system scope for SG Fleet.
  • Ensure the delivery of monthly reporting on the status of IT Security and assist in remediation efforts. Proactively and reactively drive to resolution security vulnerabilities allocated by SOC or Security Specialist.
  • Collaborate with SG Fleet's SOC team in the discovery and resolution of vulnerabilities
  • Investigate, respond, and remediate security incidents that are raised from the various monitoring platforms
  • Collaborate with soc AND Security Specialist in the coordination of security incident responses providing the required details for a risk analysis and a reporting elements
  • Implement new and iterate on existing technology to help identify and mitigate security issues
Essential
  • Security penetration testing and remediation
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Intune and End Point Management (Laptops, Mobile phones)
  • Experience in trouble shooting basic server/networking issues
  • Experience with monitoring security alerts and conducting thorough investigations
  • Demonstrated understanding server/network infrastructure to assess security alerts effectively
  • Understanding for developing best practice solutions for IT security
  • Experience with applying security recommendations for improving security posture
  • Good understanding of server/network infrastructure
Desirable

  • Office 365 Product Suite and related Office Projects
  • Trend Micro protection/CrowdStrike/Defender ATP
  • Microsoft Active Directory (AD,DNS,DHCP)
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud and Services

  • Security frameworks and standards
  • Threat intelligence
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology
