**About The Role**

The Transport Administrator will undertake a variety of manufacturing duties, including but not limited to:
Scheduling and Planning:

- Plan and schedule transportation routes to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Coordinate the dispatch of vehicles and drivers.
- Ensure timely deliveries and collections.

Administrative Duties:

- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, insurance, and inspections.
- Prepare and manage transportation documents, such as bills of lading, manifests, and invoices.
- Update and manage transportation databases and systems.

Communication:

- Liaise with drivers to provide instructions and respond to queries.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate activities.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety standards for drivers and vehicles.
- Keep up to date with changes in regulations affecting transport logistics.

Reporting:

- Generate regular reports on transport activities and performance metrics.
- Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

**About the Shifts**

This is a full-time position available for immediate start, hours might be flexible.
- Monday - Thursday - 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Friday - 7:00am - 1:30pm

**About you - Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics administration role is highly desirable
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Calm and professional telephone manner
- Basic data entry skills
- Microsoft Office and Excel Skills
- Self-motivated and well disciplined
- Reliable and punctual
- Team Collaboration
- Self-motivated attitude
