**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Human Resources Manufacturing team in Port Kembla as a **People Business Partner**. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

During this exciting time at BlueScope with ongoing and upcoming projects, we have 2 opportunities for a People Business Partner. A **permanent full-time** and a **12-month fixed term role,** with the opportunity to discuss flexible work arrangements for both roles.

As a people focused Business Partner, you will be joining a collaborative and supportive HR team within Manufacturing. You will have access to various health and well-being initiatives including Employment Assistance Program, Employee Real Deals and on-going learning, support and training.

**What Will You Do?**

Forming strong partnerships with your stakeholders, you will:

- manage your portfolio with all HR related activities and people matters - including recruitment engagement, workforce planning, onboarding, learning and development and compensation
- guide and support Employee Relations (ER) case management (with the support of in-house ER experts)
- have the opportunity to be involved in project initiatives that will enhance our employee capability and experience

Along with your ability to connect with our people and build meaningful relationships, you will bring:

- a degree qualification in a HR or Business discipline** or** experience in a similar role
- an ability to influence and manage stakeholder relationships to coach and guide leaders on people related matters
- a dedication to achieving business outcomes with an enthusiasm to learn and understand the business
