**About EDConnect**

EDConnect is the Department’s Shared Service Centre, delivering integrated transactional and advisory services for the Department. EDConnect offers information, support and advice to schools and education support teams, for a wide range of services including business services, finance, human resources, ICT and procurement.

**About the role***

This **new** role is a member of EDConnect’s new internal enablement team that delivers service improvements in people, processes, and systems to EDConnect, its partners and customers.

The Manager Change and Communications manages the development and implementation of EDConnect’s communications and change management initiatives to support the Department’s reform programs and meet EDConnect’s engagement strategy objectives.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience
- Working with children check for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
