- **$1000 per day exclusive of Superannuation
- **6-month contract role with strong possibility of extension
Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Change Manager to join their team.

**Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing a change strategy across 4 or 5 clusters. Each cluster includes a number of initiatives within the policy redesign stream.
- Integration with the Single View of Change across the department, identifying where stakeholders should be engaged and consulted on key initiatives and changes.
- Ensure our stakeholders and end users are taken on a change journey in a greenfield change space so that the changes are implemented and embedded in a way that considers long term objectives.
- Ability to design and implement communications and a learning strategy as needed.
- Ensuring processes are in place to identify and manage programme/project issues and risks including their appropriate escalation and contingency management.
- Aligning to the Reforms change strategy to ensure we deliver in a cohesive way across the department.
- Ensuring expectations are managed with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage up, across and down.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements to meet project objectives.
- Providing great leadership to the change implementation team, creating a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Identifying and initiating change that will improve processes, operating practices, and systems within the operational teams.
- Help foster a culture that reinforces inclusivity, trust, respect, creativity, collaboration and openness across the directorate.

**Selection Criteria:
- Effectively provide change management and project management expertise to multi-disciplinary projects
- Excellent leadership skills with evidence of managing stakeholders across a range of locations
- Ability to negotiate/influence at senior level on change and communication requirements in order to decide optimum way forward
- Ability to design and deliver training and communication
- Evidence of employing change management best practices and disciplines including governance, control and risk management
- Tertiary qualifications in business, project management with a focus on change management and/or equivalent experience in change management
- Proven track record in managing a portfolio of work on a program
- Preferred government experience but not essential
