**About our Team**
The Business Administration Officer roles we are seeking to fill are in the DIG and you will be employed broadly across the Group with positions in the Intelligence Agencies; Defence Intelligence Organisation (DIO) and the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO), as well as within the Group’s Divisions; Intelligence Capability Development (ICD) and Intelligence Policy and Priorities (IPP).

To succeed in this role, applicants will be required to demonstrate:

- High levels of administrative and organisational abilities;
- Display well-developed oral and written communication and time management skills;
- Excellent judgement, problem solving skills and initiative;
- Excellent Liaison skills;
- Ability to work independently and also be team focused and function in a collaborative environment; and
- Ability to handle highly sensitive information in accordance with government security requirements.

The APS 5 Business Administration Officer will be accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility. They will interpret and provide advice within the administration function based on legislation, policy and procedures. They will undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessments and perform procedural, clerical, administrative support work to achieve results.
