This is a unique opportunity that will enable you to work with a diverse & passionate group of professionals who are dedicated to enriching the lives of their students & staff.

This is a HR Generalist role where you will be leading the HR function with one direct report & working closely with the Business Manager and Principal to make a significant contribution to their people, performance and culture. You will be responsible for talent attraction & retention, HR policy and procedure development, providing HR advice & performance management. Some key responsibilities and services that you will provide include:

- Provide operational HR advice to the Business Manager and Principal to ensure consistent and fair treatment of employees, support and inform decision making and contribute to effective problem resolution;
- Maintain industry HR knowledge and awareness to identify emerging trends, inform HR decisions and contribute to contemporary programs and policies;
- Manage a range of HR operational activities including development of HR process improvements;
- Support the HR lifecycle through remuneration, induction, onboarding and offboarding activities;
- Work closely with key stakeholders to implement performance development and staff wellbeing programs.

This role is well-suited to a highly engaging, proactive & hands-on HR Leader who is committed to making a positive impact. We are seeking someone who will take an active role within this environment and possesses the below skills and experience:

- Tertiary qualifications in HR Management or related field
- Highly experienced HR professional, ideally with experience in the education sector or related field (though not essential)
- Strong experience in talent acquisition
- Strong ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, with excellent communication skills
- A proactive, resilient professional, with the ability to solve problems & is authentic and genuine in their dealings
- An empathetic & compassionate approach to HR management
