**About the role**:
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in CSBP’s growth and profitability by contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to facilitate data driven decision making that provide opportunities to improve the business.

You will find answers to complex and technical problems through sourcing, analysing and visualing data, integrating data of varying types, sources and storage methodologies to assist the business to make informed decisions and deliver insights.

You will contribute, guide and champion strong data governance, security and data processes.

**In addition, some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Create and manage reporting for management dashboards across multiple data sources.
- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
- Facilitate workshops and forums (such as a centre of excellence) to increase awareness of reporting/insight projects and strategies and support data governance initiatives.
- Build networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration and compliance with data governance standards.
- Monitor data and reporting usage and ensure retirement or cleansing of any redundant artefacts.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries for developed reports and analyses.

**About you**:
You will possess:

- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Maths, Science, Engineering or business discipline or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Data or Business Data Analyst.
- Data visualization, strong knowledge of and experience with reporting and statistical packages: Microsoft Power BI, DAX, R, Python etc.
- Demonstrated experience with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design.
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent ability to describe problems/findings to different audiences (technical, non-technical), leveraging visualisation tools effectively.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational, planning and decision making skills.
