Safesearch is working with a leading Australian and New Zealand manufacturers to find an experienced HSE Business Partner to join the team based in Perth. This position will provide operational guidance and support, whilst delivering strategy and contributing to their company's core purpose, vision and values.

**The Role**:
With a new site opening in 2023, this is a great opportunity for a HSE professional who is motivated to collaborate with site leaders and contribute their expertise, to create and establish a fresh safety culture in a modernised setting in an environment where safety is paramount.

**Key Responsibilities**:
This is a hands-on site-based position that will see you lead, promote and collaborate with business leaders to create effective and pragmatic HSE practices, education programs and strategies.
Working closely with the team ensuring that you are visible and approachable on the production floor and driving HSE initiatives that will develop best practice to further enhance the safety culture.
- Operational & development risk assessments, SWMS and general HSE procedures
- Conduct site/development safety inspections/audits and complete incident investigations
- Conduct safety training and education programs
- Implement initiatives focused on behavioural change and drive engagement
- Injury Prevention Management and Return to Work for employees
- Provide accurate and timely advice on all HSE related matters
- Actively driving positive relationships with external stakeholders
- Effective business partnering and coaching on safety

**The successful applicant**:

- You are an enthusiastic champion of safety and lead from the front, driving buy in and team engagement
- Proven results in influencing cultural change, behaviours and safety initiatives
- Demonstrable experience in a similar HSE Business Partner role ideally within Food or Feed Manufacturing
- Working knowledge of HSE legislation, regulations and codes of practice, Dangerous goods and Chain of responsibility
- Sound understanding of quality standards including HACCP, GMP and FeedSafe
- Emotional maturity and interpersonal skills
- Minimum Certificate IV in WHS, Diploma in WHS preferred
- Must hold a valid WA Drivers licence
