Assembly Test Operator

We are looking for a dynamic assembly test operator to join our production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for working on the assembly line and producing our product based on specific processes and instructions. You will be required to work in all areas of production including instrument assembly, test and packing, spares and reagent manufacturing. You'll also be required to accurately document assembly and test data, quality issues and safety concerns.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Follow health and safety standards.
- Be part of a team to produce finished products on the assembly line according to controlled processes, instructions, and/or schematics.
- Finalising and packaging products for shipment.
- Operate production line equipment and identify any maintenance required.
- Contribute to a clean and well organized work area.
- Inspect raw materials and assembled products and report any faults or defects.
- Report incidents, adverse events, or process issues on the assembly line to management.
- Assist in the provision of on-the-job training.
- Responsible for assuring the quality of his/her own work.
- Ensure accurate entry of assembly and test data into Device History File (DHF) records.
- Accurately complete cell operator timesheets.
- Update, maintain and present +QDIP cell visual management reporting charts.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement.

**Required Education, Experience, Skills**
- At least 2 years experience in an assembly line manufacturing environment following detailed instructions, preferably medical device manufacturing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.

- Demonstrated high attention to detail
- Accurately follows processes and procedures
- Clear, concise communication skills (English), both written and spoken
