About the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre
Founded in 2001, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is Australia’s largest human rights organisation providing support to people seeking asylum. We are an independent not-for-profit organisation whose programs support and empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well being. We champion the rights of people seeking asylum and mobilise a community of compassion to create lasting social and policy change.

About The Role
The Digital Marketing Producer will be responsible for developing a range of strategic and tactical digital marketing and organic social media activities including:

- Donor acquisition campaigns across fundraising and marketing projects
- Supporting donor retention campaigns
- Lead generation campaigns
- Awareness campaigns and ongoing organic content

The Digital Marketing Producer is responsible for developing innovative paid digital media campaigns (social and google search) that change the conversation around refugees and people seeking asylum and inspire people to take action (financial and non-financial) while highlighting the voices of people with lived experience of seeking asylum.
In addition, this role is responsible for the development of online advertising and campaign management from planning, execution, optimisation and reporting. To achieve this, the Digital Marketing Producer will work in close collaboration with the Website Coordinator and liaise with external agencies for specific projects.
This role is also in charge of coordinating the organic social media activity of the ASRC’s owned social media accounts (shared responsibility for Facebook and Twitter with other stakeholders), including community moderation. To achieve this, you will work closely with the Marketing and Social Media Officer and volunteers.
The role is critical in supporting the Fundraising and Marketing stream to effectively tell the story of the ASRC whilst building deeper engagement with the community through meaningful and measured conversations.
You will be an expert in measuring and testing integrated digital campaigns to deliver optimum results. Fundraising campaigns will be structured across the year with the goal of continually diversifying and testing various channels and messages.
This is a full-time role with a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity leave cover.
About You

- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business, IT or other related discipline.
- Extensive, demonstrated experience in digital/online marketing and digital fundraising with expertise in running successful digital campaigns.
- Significant experience working with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Suite, Meta Pixels.
- Strong understanding and experience in Google Analytics tracking and reporting (Goals, eCommerce, Events, Campaigns).
- Demonstrated experience working with Meta Ads Manager with experience in cost-per-conversion and lead-generation campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience working on CMS platforms, preferably, WordPress. Squarespace and Shopify knowledge is highly desirable.
- Significant experience working with marketing automation and customer journey mapping.
- Knowledge in SEO, including website auditing, keyword planning and understanding of SEO best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially storytelling and copyright.
- An understanding of or experience working in culturally diverse work environments.

Lived experience of seeking asylum in Australia is highly desirable. Knowledge of policy and issues impacting on people seeking asylum in Australia as well as previous experience working within a not-for-profit environment, would also be advantageous.
