As our Transport Compliance Manager, you are a motivated and safety driven professional who has a sound knowledge and previous experience in Compliance and WHS matters within transport operations.

You will be responsible for driving, monitoring, implementing and ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures, Chain of Responsibility, and HVNL across our business.

Based in Eastern Creek, but your role will include visiting our various depots in Sydney attending to major accidents and incidents including taking phone calls out of business hours

**Responsibilities**:

- Business partnering with all stakeholders
- Schedule and implement internal audits regularly to identify any gaps prior to external audits.
- Schedule NHVAS audits as required
- Prepare all documentation for audits
- Investigate, action, and close out any NCRs that have resulted from the audits.
- Review work practices and ensure compliance.
- Participate in external audits.
- Conduct Risk Assessments regularly.
- Review policies, procedures, manuals, SWMS, SOPs.
- Investigating work-place incidents and collisions, near misses, hazards, NCRs.
- Collisions: Lodge insurance claims if applicable; Liaise with Third Parties

**Selection Criteria**:

- Experience and sound knowledge of Compliance and WHS within Transport Business
- Knowledge of HVNL & COR
- Ability to develop and improve strategies based on compliance & safety performance
- Strong initiative to identify areas of development or gaps within the business and take action to introduce processes and actions to close gaps.

**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Eastern Creek, NSW 2766: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
