- We are seeking a **Finance and Administration Officer** for an innovative horticultural company based in regional Queensland. This is a versatile role offering payroll, accounts payable, staff onboarding, and training support duties. **Who will you be working with?**

Our Client is one of Australia’s largest horticultural organisations with sites throughout Australia. On site in Emerald, they are heading into their peak season which runs from May to September and generates an influx of seasonal workers. As a part of the finance and administration team, you’ll work closely with several operational teams to assist with related onboarding processes, payroll, purchase orders and general administrative tasks.

**What will you be doing?**

As the Finance and Administration Officer, you will be the go-to for many key administrative tasks and become an expert who can confidently trouble shoot problems as they arise. This role would suit someone who has previous experience in payroll administration and/or accounts payable, and understands the requirements within a fast-paced manufacturing, processing or FMCG environment.

Some key responsibilities include:

- Process accounts weekly
- Weekly preparation of payroll data for over 200+ staff
- Support the seasonal worker program team with onboarding and offboarding tasks
- Generate purchase orders in a timely manner to support key operational needs
- Ensure documentation is compliant with audit requirements

- 3 - 5 years experience in a similar payroll or accounts payable role
- Experience with SAP is essential
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment such as FMCG, manufacturing or seasonal work
- Strong computer skills with the ability to generate reports in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- A formal qualification in Finance (Payroll Services or Accounting) would be highly regarded but is not essential
