**What you’ll be working on**

We are seeking a Deputy Operations Manager to lead a dedicated team of coordinators to fulfil the control tower function of a large Service Logistics FSL network and provide tailor made customer service experience to the selected Service Logistics customers. In addition, this role needs to ensure a high performance and compliance of all the supporting functions of the Service Logistics operation including KPI reporting, billing, and admin.

Our Service Logistics team delivers complex supply chain solutions based on a unique warehousing network performing at the highest standards as well as providing a wide range of transport services with a focus on time critical deliveries to our customers across Australia.
- Collaboratively work with the FSL coordinator team to ensure the smooth run and coverage of all operations outside main Banksmeadow warehouse.
- Work with the after-hours team to ensure the 24x7 service are provided to the customer requirements.
- Drive contract compliance with all vendors including warehousing agents and consumable vendors.
- Own KPI reporting of all service logistics customers and effectively drive the CAR process for all service failures.
- Ensure the billing for all service logistics customers are timely and accurately done, and the DA’s are processed on time to realize the revenue.
- Manage the admin functions to support the Service Logistics operation.
- Drive the solution and response to all customer escalations for transport related matters.
- Prepare and present performance figures at customer MBR and QBR.
- Manage the team with regards to training, development, attendance, coordination of workflow and shift arrangements and live a culture of motivating staff to go above and beyond.
- Ensure high efficiencies of the team operation in all aspects and drive continuous improvement with a strong focus on service performance, customer requirements, operational efficiencies, and cost control
- Ensure full compliance across the whole supply chain (warehousing, transport, Chain of responsibility, SOP’s, audits) and WHS legislation requirements resulting in a safe work environment for all stakeholders
- Work with Customers and Sales Departments in ensuring a high level of customer service is provided to internal and external clients
- Conduct Staff Performance Reviews to align on work performance and agreed goals
- Ensure full understanding of P&L revenue and cost accounts to meet weekly and monthly targets.

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Experience of dealing with 3PL customers at a senior level
- Experience in delivering service quality and productivity results in a leadership or management capacity in 3PL ideally in a multiclient environment
- Solid knowledge of FedEx transport network and Time Critical service
- Good knowledge of 3PL warehouse processes, technology, and warehouse management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence staff in improving service levels and working together in a team environment.
- Well-developed computer literacy skills
- Ability to work flexible and on occasion work irregular hours as well as be on call outside of normal office hours
- Knowledge of the business levers, processes, structures, and finance
