**The Role**

This is a unique opportunity to join Origin's LPG business at the Bulwer Island Terminal. The position is responsible for delivering the preventative, corrective and non-routine maintenance, inspection, and testing of the Bulwer Island Terminal to ensure safe, compliant and effective Terminal facilities.

With a demonstrated focus on safety and OH&S compliance, you will ensure that Origin is meeting the needs of our customers across the region through availability and regulatory compliance of the Terminal Assets.

Reporting to the Bulwer Island Terminal Manager, your key accountabilities will include but will not be limited to:

- Ensure the continuous safe condition and compliance of the Terminal facilities.
- Maintain the SAP Enterprise resource planning system & ensure all documentation relating to the system is updated in a timely manner.
- To ensure inspections, servicing, and maintenance of items of equipment requiring such works are carried out competently and on time and that appropriate written records are completed.
- Proactive identification and reporting of matters requiring unscheduled maintenance or are presenting an unsafe condition.
- To assist in determining the cause of equipment failure, reduced performance, dangerous incidents, or abnormal conditions which may lead to failure and to determine what temporary or long-term action is required.
- Carry out the responsibilities of a Permit Authority under the company’s procedures and permit-to-work system.
- Development of JSA’s for all non-procedural work performed including the completion of required risk assessments and identification of appropriate controls.
- Liaison with other tradespeople and contractors.

**Is This You?**
- Licenced Gas Fitter, or Engineering trade certification as Fitter & Turner, diesel mechanic or Boilermaker (or similar)
- Extensive maintenance experience gained in gas or fuel terminal operations / Bulk Fuels storage environment highly advantageous (or similar hazardous areas)
- Awareness of MHF safety & regulatory requirements highly advantageous (not essential)
- Current driver’s licence essential
- Must have excellent people skills and the ability to inspire people to have the desire to deliver results
- Contractor Management - day to day
