We are currently looking for APS 5 Family History Unit Research Coordinator to work with a cultural institution on sensitive and culturally significant research projects. The Research Coordinator develops a deep understanding of the collections, relevant records held by other organisations and advises on and undertakes complex research tasks and provides non-accredited family history training.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Supervise and support Indigenous Family History research officers.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with Link-Up caseworkers and funded researchers.
- Undertake and coordinate project work and service evaluation.
- Represent at external forums through tours and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Strong research literacy and reporting skills with an understanding of Indigenous family history research.
- Formal research/information literacy qualifications and training highly desirable.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People clearance (WWVP), or ability to obtain one.
