The role of the Department of Education is to support Victorians to build prosperous, socially engaged, happy and healthy lives. **About the Division**

The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) guides the department's digital capability and is leading digital transformation for the department including Victorian government schools. The Division architects, manages and supports the largest technology network in Victoria, supporting a user base of approximately 750,000 staff and students.

**About the Role**

IMTD are seeking a Technology Manager (Enterprise Platforms), a key senior figure responsible for effective implementation and alignment of enterprise platforms with the department's strategic objectives. Leading a skilled technical team, the role requires expertise in product development, architecture design, and strategic planning for platforms like Salesforce, Service Now, and Microsoft.

IMTD provides innovation and leadership in the transformation and management of the department's digital capability through the implementation of solutions on the department's cloud environment (IaaS), enterprise cloud platforms (PaaS) and software (SaaS), using agile practices with a focus on user experience, security, and integration.

**Capabilities**

**Desirable Qualifications and Experience**

This pivotal role facilitates strategic technology investments and fosters partnerships between technical capabilities and diverse business units to achieve digital transformation and meet the department's strategic goals.
- Significant experience in managing enterprise platforms at a large organisation, preferably Salesforce, ServiceNow and/or Microsoft.
- Proven knowledge implementing systematic processes to align operations across enterprise platforms to ensure consistency and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated experience being accountable for enterprise platform health and performance, tracking progress against success metrics to meet continuous improvement targets.
- Exhibited familiarity being the escalation point for vendor, contract and license management.
- Exposure to the creation and governance of end-to-end platform management capabilities including development/operations and strategic planning.
- Propensity to develop a positive culture of innovation, service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications/Accreditation in related discipline would be advantageous
