**As our client expands their operations in Australia, they are seeking a talented and experienced Procurement Manager specializing in technology to join their dynamic team.**

The Procurement Manager - Technology will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of technology products and services for our client's operations in Australia.

This role involves managing the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management. Leveraging their expertise in technology procurement, the Procurement Manager will optimize costs, drive value, and capitalize on market trends to support our client's success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies for technology categories, aligning them with our client's business objectives and global procurement guidelines.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and evaluate potential technology vendors to ensure the selection of reliable suppliers.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including drafting RFx documents, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier performance.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, engineering, and project management teams, to understand technology requirements and provide timely procurement support.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing methodologies, supplier consolidation, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues or conflicts to ensure quality, delivery, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and industry best practices, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement function.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering strategic partnerships and driving innovation and value creation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience 5+ years in technology procurement, preferably within a multinational organization or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of technology products and services, including software, hardware, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive informed decisions.
- Proficiency in using procurement and ERP systems, preferably with experience in Ariba.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS are desirable.
