**Your New Opportunity**:
This role is based at Wetherill Park, NSW and is a key hands-on role within the Site Management team. You will be responsible for maintaining all operating equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation including cost-effective maintenance strategies to meet agreed performance targets and statutory requirements.

You will also be responsible for continual improvement in plant and process performance, to achieve best practice in the areas of safety, environment, quality, housekeeping, efficiency, and utilisation. Duties include, but not limited to.

**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Maintenance of all Plant and Equipment both fixed and mobile.
- Manage store including spare parts inventory, to ensure appropriate spares are available, with critical spares and store stock being regularly reviewed.
- Manage maintenance team and maintenance contractors to ensure plant is maintained to the required standard within the R&M budget.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, modification and repairs on all general plant and equipment to enable efficient and safe operation
- Manufacture and replace parts as required
- Fault finding and problem solving - reporting items of plant and/or equipment which require maintenance
- Ensure unplanned stoppages are minimised and efficiently addressed.
- Operate Forklift, EWPs and/or other forms of moving equipment as required for maintenance related work.
- Monitor equipment condition as per equipment manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Maintain and report on maintenance KPIs.
- Develop and maintain strong, cost-effective relationships with suppliers, vendors, service providers and contractors
- Provide input for the operations OPEX and CAPEX budget and expenditure.
- Lead from the front in a hands-on manner through a large shop floor presence and positive engagement will all employees in the business

**About you**:

- Mechanical Engineering degree or Trade Qualification (in engineering/mechanical discipline relevant to role)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Maintenance manager or supervisor role in manufacturing / mineral processing or heavy industry environment
- Proven front line supervisory / management experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Principles and proven experience in managing a proactive preventative maintenance program
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current Forklift Licence (desirable)
- Elevated Work Platform Licence (desirable)
- Current Confined Space Licence (desirable)
