The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the peak representative organisation for general practice, the backbone of Australia’s health system. About you
As our Membership Engagement & Events Coordinator, you’ll call upon your excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. With your strong knowledge of marketing and communication methods, along with your high-level organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, you’ll develop and implement member engagement strategies on time and within budget.

**You will also demonstrate**:
strong stakeholder management experience, including interacting with a diverse set of stakeholders at various levels and demonstrated contract management skills
ability to work independently as well as part of a team to assist with supporting the broad objectives of the RACGP
intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
3 years’ experience working in a similar membership or events role within the healthcare industry or in a membership-based organisation.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the WA Team Leader, you’ll develop and maintain the RACGP WA member communication and engagement strategy as well as coordinate and deliver educational activities and collegial events such as the annual Fellowship and Award ceremonies. You’ll be proactive in identifying opportunities to recognise member contributions to retain and increase membership.

**Responsibilities will also include**:
preparing member communications, including e-blasts, e-newsletters, and direct promotional communications
editing media content including podcasts and webinars
building and maintaining effective and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and new and existing sponsorship organisations
assisting colleagues in the delivery of the faculty’s core work areas, including webinar support
responding to member and stakeholder enquiries and feedback
Representing the College at promotional events and conferences
in consultation with Manager, delivering agreed Work Performance Goals and participate in the RACGP Performance Review Cycle.
